TAX SLABS –

INCOME TAX RATES

Corporate Income Tax (CIT):

  • General businesses: 30%
  • Oil & mining sector: 35%

Minimum Tax

1% of annual revenue (flat XAF 1 million minimum), applicable if not exempt, with payments due November and January.

VAT

Standard rate is 18%, reduced rates of 10% and 5% apply to agriculture and essentials; exports zero-rated; exemptions for healthcare, education, public transport.

Personal Income Tax (PIT)

Progressive rates for residents (0% up to XAF 1.5 million; up to 35% for above XAF 10 million); non-residents 20% flat rate.
